Literacy - Stories which raise issues/dilemmas

Numeracy - Addition and subtraction. Mental and written methods. Reading, writing, ordering, partitioning, rounding, timetables, multiplication, doubles, angles, symmetry, 2D/3D shapes, time, sorting, graphs, units of measurement, fractions, scales.

History - 1930’s and beyond - Toys

Art - Take a doll—research/drawing, faces and body proportions - Artists, Andy Wahol.

Design Technology - A Toy or Board Game

RE - Islam

PSHCE - Going for Goals

Science - Forces / Electricity

ICT - Research / Presentation of information

Music - Rounds, hymns and range of fun songs.

P.E. - Cyber Coach / Apparatus

French - Greetings, numbers, colours, fruit, days of the week.

Pupils worked with Qdos Creates group. They created a story in dance

form based on the shapes of jewellery from Brazil and the South American Rain Forest, the finished dance was then performed for parents at the Civic theatre, Barnsley.
