Homework—Information to follow

It’s a good idea to keep PE kits in school all week. (Plain white t-shirt and black shorts).

Children will need an outdoor PE kit for the Autumn term (Trainers/Jogging bottoms etc.)

Please make sure your child’s water bottle is washed thoroughly each week.

Literacy - Traditional stories/myths and legends, stories from other cultures, persuasive writing, choral and performance poetry

Numeracy - Counting, Partitioning, and calculating. Securing number facts and understanding shapes. Handling data and measuring. Calculations. Securing number facts and relationships.

History - Pre history - Development of Man

Geography - Africa - Kenya, South Africa

Design Technology/Art - African masks, jewellery—Musical instruments

RE - Islam

PSHCE - Going for Goals - Good to be me

Science - Materials - Grouping, classifying, sorting

ICT - HD video , movie maker, photo story, crazy talk, animation, excel spreadsheets and formula creations.

Music - African songs - drumming. Develop song and accompaniments.

P.E. - Gymnastics— dance. Throwing and catching.
