Class LW
We are timetabled for P.E. lessons on Monday and Tuesday, but we may be flexible about this, especially in the summer. We encourage children to wear white t-shirts and black shorts and have a pair of pumps or trainers for outside P.E. It is easiest if they are kept in a carrier bag or small pump bag on the coat peg. Please do no forget to label these clothes too!
For safety reasons, all earrings must be removed on days when there is a P.E. lesson
When the children are settled in we would like you to take responsibility for changing your child’s reading practise book. We will tell you which colour level to choose the book from and where to find them. The books can be changed every day if you wish—the more your child enjoys practising with you at home, the quicker they will grow in confidence at school. If you experience any difficulties or are not sure what to do, always ask! Please let us know regularly how your child is getting on so that we can plan for their next steps. We may also ask you to practise writing and maths skills one to one with your child. This individual support is vital to confident progress. Please send the reading folder with book, words etc. every day to school.
If your child is ill we may need to contact family urgently, so please ensure that school has up to date contact information at all times.
We need to work closely together and share information in order to achieve the best for your child. Please keep us up to date with your news and ask if you need to know more from us. We communicate all the varied and exciting things that happen in our school by wall posters and by letters/notes sent home.
Always check for new notices and regularly look in your child’s reading folder for letters
