Homework—Spellings and reading

It’s a good idea to keep PE kits in school all week.

Please make sure your child’s water bottle is washed thoroughly each week.

TOPICS FOR SPRING TERM 2012

Literacy - Stories with familiar settings. Instructions, Labels lists and captions. Recount, fact and fiction. Stories with predictable and patterned language / Stories by the same author. Non chronological Reports.

Numeracy - Counting up to and within 1000, partitioning 2 and 3 digit numbers, using calculations to solve problems, securing number facts up to and within 100, understanding 2D and 3D shape, collecting and representing data (graphs) and using measure to solve problems.

History - Looking at Victorian times – compare and contrast / Homes long ago – Fire of London

Art - Observational drawings /Collages. Focus on an artist.
