Before and After School Provision
Breakfast Club
A breakfast club is available each morning from 7.45am. There is a small charge of £5.50 per session which includes cereal, toast and a drink followed by various activities. This club is available for all our pupils including nursery.
After School Club
The After School Club helps parents or carers who need wrap around play care for their children while they are at work. The after school club is for children aged from 4 – 11 (4 year olds in the reception class are eligible to attend). The club is a place where children can access a play environment which is stimulating and varied with a range of activities such as arts/crafts, games and physical play for children to choose from. A quiet area for reading and homework is also available. The After School Club follows policies and procedures already in place within the school. The club operates from the end of the school day until 5.30pm daily. Children can be collected from after school club between 5.00pm and 5.30pm. There is an £11.50 charge per session.
Booking System for Breakfast Club and After School Club
Breakfast Club and After School club MUST be booked online through the School Gateway. Places are limited to 15 children per session at the after school club and 8 children at breakfast club.
Sessions have to be paid for at the time of booking otherwise it will not let you reserve a place. The system works the same as the Dinner Money payment system, so if you wish to, you can keep a credit balance which will sit on the system until you need to use it. Parents who use Childcare Vouchers will see their balance increase as and when vouchers are received.
There will be a cut off for bookings; for Breakfast Club this will be 2 nights before the day required and for After School Club it will be 1 night, this is so that registers can be printed off and ready for each session.
There will be no facility to cancel when you have booked so please ensure you only book sessions you require as there will still be a charge if you do not give 48 hours notice by email to c.gregory@keresforthprimary.org.uk
