Geography

At Keresforth, our intent is to instil and develop an understanding and knowledge of the world and their own place within it. We seek to inspire in children, a curiosity about the world and its people which will remain with them for the rest of their lives. We aim to promote children’s interests in understanding the diverse places, people and natural environments alongside developing a deep understanding of the changing world and how they can contribute to the future of it. With the high expectations we hold at Keresforth Primary School, we aim for the majority of children to reach age related expectations or have made good progress from their individual starting points.
